Bem-vindos!
"Era Uma Vez" means "once upon a time" in Portuguese. It is a project that helps children with Portuguese as heritage language to stay fluent and gain knowledge and appreciation for the Luso‑Brazilian culture.
A literatura e o livre brincar são meios de aprendizado, experiência
e conhecimento onde a criança comunica-se com ela própria
e com o mundo. A ludicidade é necessária em qualquer idade, mas especialmente na infância, como diversão e como facilitadora de potencialidades, o que contribui na formação integral da criança.

We have a large library of books in Portuguese for children. The books were donated by the Carvalho Family. We will be forever grateful to them.
